(1) Classification by Mineral Composition
Single Mineral - Barite Ore
The ore contains 80%~98% BaSO₄, with very few associated minerals.
Quartz - Barite Ore

The ore is composed of barite and quartz, with quartz comprising 30%~45% of the ore.
Fluorite - Barite Ore
The main minerals are fluorite and barite, with other associated minerals including quartz and calcite.
Sulfide - Barite Ore
Mainly composed of barite and iron sulfide, copper sulfide, zinc sulfide, and lead sulfide. Other associated minerals include quartz, calcite, and fluorite.
Iron-barite deposits:
mainly composed of barite and iron minerals (magnetite, hematite, goethite, etc.), with other associated minerals including quartz and calcite.
Sandy-barite deposits:

the ore contains varying amounts of clay, rock fragments, and single-mineral barite fragments.
(2) Classification by deposit type
sedimentary, weathering (residual slope) type, volcanic-sedimentary type, hydrothermal type, stratabound (endogenic) type.
