Scrap Tire Pyrolysis Carbon Black Recovery Process

2025-10-28 16:52:39

Traditional carbon black production methods face dual pressures on resources and the environment. Therefore, pyrolysis of scrap tires to produce carbon black has become a noteworthy transformation direction. The scrap tires are first cleaned, then sliced or pulverized, and magnetically separated to remove the scrap steel wire. The remaining material is dried and preheated before being fed into a pyrolysis furnace, where thermal decomposition occurs under the protection of an inert gas such as steam or nitrogen. The process varies depending on the target substance.
