1. Product Introduction
The LM Series Vertical Roller Mill, also known as a vertical mill or vertical grinding mill, is a large-scale, high-efficiency, energy-saving grinding mill developed by Zenith Machinery, integrating advanced technologies from Germany's Loesche and Feifan, along with nearly 40 years of R&D and manufacturing experience. It integrates crushing, drying, grinding, and powder selection, and boasts numerous independent patents and intellectual property rights. Its key technical and economic indicators reach internationally advanced levels.
2. Operating Principle
The main motor drives the grinding disc through a reducer. Simultaneously, air enters the mill through the air inlet. The material flows through the screw feeder's discharge port onto the center of the grinding disc. Centrifugal force propels the material evenly from the center to the edge of the grinding disc. As it passes through the grinding roller area on the grinding disc, it is crushed by the grinding rollers. Larger particles are directly crushed, while finer particles are squeezed to form a material bed for inter-particle comminution. The crushed material continues to move toward the edge of the grinding disc until it is carried away by the strong airflow at the wind ring, and the larger particles fall back onto the grinding disc and continue to be crushed. When the material in the airflow passes through the upper separator, the coarse particles are returned to the grinding disc for grinding under the action of the separator blades. The qualified fine powder is discharged from the mill along with the airflow and collected by the system's powder collector. The collected powder is the product of the vertical mill. When the iron blocks and other debris mixed with the material move to the edge of the grinding disc with the material, they cannot be blown away by the wind due to their own weight and fall into the lower cavity of the mill. They are scraped into the slag discharge port by the scraper installed at the bottom of the grinding disc and discharged outside the machine.

(6) Easy maintenance and low operating cost The grinding roller is lubricated with forced thin oil and equipped with a hydraulic roller turning device.
