35-50 mm / 1.6-0.038 mm

Production capacity

6-55 t/h

Overview

The MTW6X European trapezium mill is a fully thin-oil-lubricated, intelligent pendulum mill developed on the proven MTW platform. It is built for continuous production of 80-400 mesh fine powder from non-metallic minerals, combining an integrated bevel gear drive, a full oil lubrication system and a new-generation high-efficiency classifier in one compact unit. With a capacity range of 6-55 t/h, a maximum feed size of 50 mm and finished fineness adjustable down to 0.038 mm, it suits medium and large powder plants that need steady output, long maintenance intervals and predictable power consumption.

Features

1. Integrated bevel gear drive
The transmission chain is short and the gear ratio is precisely controlled, so power reaches the grinding spindle smoothly and the drive train stays simpler than a conventional belt-and-pulley arrangement.
2. Full oil lubrication - maintenance without shutdown
Both the main unit and the roller assembly are oil-lubricated, so lubrication servicing can be carried out while the mill keeps running. This removes most of the planned downtime normally associated with grease-packed bearings.
3. New-generation classifier
A redesigned rotor with improved sealing and optimised airflow gives a sharper cut point, so the finished powder stays inside a narrow particle-size band.
4. High-performance fan
The new fan raises pneumatic efficiency by about 15% and reduces fan power draw by roughly 8-10% compared with a conventional fan of the same duty.
5. Flexible finished fineness
Finished fineness is adjustable between 1.6 mm and 0.038 mm (about 325 mesh) through the variable-frequency classifier, without changing major components.

Working Principle

Crushed material that has passed the screening stage is fed evenly and quantitatively into the main grinding chamber by a variable-frequency belt feeder. The material is ground between the grinding rollers and the ring, and the airflow from the fan lifts the ground powder into the classifier for particle-size separation. Oversize particles that do not meet the fineness setting fall back into the grinding chamber for re-grinding, while the qualified powder is carried through the pipeline into the cyclone powder collector, where gas and solid are separated and the finished powder is collected. The collected powder is discharged through the discharge mechanism as the final product. The separated air returns to the fan through the return-air pipe at the top of the cyclone collector, forming a closed-loop airflow circuit. The whole system runs under negative pressure and is fitted with a pulse dust collector, so all emission indicators meet the relevant national environmental protection standards.
