ZENITH took part in UzMiningExpo 2026, the International Mining and Engineering Machinery Exhibition held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on 17 March 2026. The event brought together mining companies, quarry operators, equipment suppliers and engineering contractors from across Central Asia and beyond, and the ZENITH team was on site to present its crushing, grinding and mineral-processing solutions.

Uzbekistan has been expanding its mining and building-materials sectors for several years. Gold, copper, uranium and a wide range of industrial minerals are produced in the country, and the government continues to open new deposits and encourage local processing. That growth keeps demand high for reliable crushing and grinding equipment, as well as for complete powder-production plants.

What ZENITH presented

The booth presented ZENITH's full range of crushing, grinding and powder-processing equipment. On the crushing side, the display covered the C6X jaw crusher and the HPT multi-cylinder cone crusher for primary and secondary hard-rock duty. On the grinding side, visitors saw the MTW European trapezium mill, the LM and LUM vertical roller mills, the XZM ultrafine mill and the ball mill, together with the complete powder-production line that ZENITH builds around them.

A recurring theme at the booth was the move from single machines to complete plants. Many visitors were not looking for one crusher or one mill, but for a full circuit: feed preparation, grinding, classification, dust collection, storage and electrical control, delivered and commissioned as one package.

What customers asked about

Three topics came up repeatedly during the show.

Fineness and capacity together. Most visitors arrived with two numbers in hand: the target product fineness and the required output in tonnes per hour. The two are closely linked, and in several cases the better answer was a mill one size larger running at lower speed, or a two-stage arrangement, rather than a single oversized unit.

Dust control and energy use. Dry collection matters at many Central Asian sites where water for suppression is limited. ZENITH grinding circuits run under negative pressure with pulse-jet dust collectors, which suits those conditions and helps meet tightening environmental requirements.

Spare parts and service. Equipment far from major industrial centres lives or dies on parts availability and response time. Most conversations ended on delivery times, wearing-part life and on-site commissioning support.

The local market

Uzbekistan's push into local mineral processing fits a wider regional trend across Central Asia: countries want to add value at home instead of exporting raw ore. That means more grinding and classification capacity, more plants that turn limestone, gypsum, feldspar and other minerals into construction and industrial materials, and more demand for suppliers who can deliver and support complete lines.
