This metallurgical slag powder production line utilizes a Zenith Machinery LM vertical roller mill. The production process is as follows: slag and other raw materials are transported to the mill by loader trucks and conveyed via a discharge hopper and belt conveyor to a slag storage shed. The stored slag is then retrieved by a forklift and transported to a receiving hopper. From there, it is fed via a metered feeding device and belt conveyor to an elevator. During transportation, the slag is first deironed by a deironing device before being fed via air-locking feeding equipment such as a screw conveyor to the LM vertical roller mill for grinding. The ground slag powder, using hot air from a hot blast furnace, passes through a powder concentrator for selection and is dried simultaneously. Slag powder that meets the required fineness is collected by a dust collector and then transported via an air conveying chute and elevator to a finished product silo for storage.
