Introduction to Aluminum Carbon Materials

2025-08-26 16:45:12

Aluminum carbon materials are made from asphalt coke, petroleum coke, anthracite, and other materials as aggregates, and coal tar pitch as binders, through deep processing. These materials primarily include anode carbon blocks, cathode carbon blocks, and cathode paste. They are the most produced and consumed carbon products and a crucial component of the aluminum electrolysis industry chain. Aluminum carbon materials offer corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, high strength, strong chemical inertness, and excellent electrical conductivity, making them widely used in aerospace, automotive, and electronics industries.
